The reason I got the new flywheel was because the stock one was cracked (long story) and I figured while I was getting a new clutch I would take the opportunity to get the lightened flywheel. As far as the power increase goes i think it DEFINITELY helped. JIM WOLF actually drove my car after it was put in and made the comment that my car felt really peppy!!!! Now for JW to say that about my NA is pretty interesting since he builds 700hp TTs. Now, it is definitely more difficult to drive slowly. The revs drop a lot faster and I found myself stalling when I tried reversing out of parking spots. But I'm used to it now. I'm pretty sure this problem was magnified by the new JW clutch too but after a week you get used to it. $$$$$ hmmm. I can't remember exactly I wanna say about $300, I know it was less than $50 more than a stock replacement. Definitely go for it if you can. later
